I've always liked my C100, but yesterday really showed me how great having everything easily accessible is.
I had to shoot multiple interviews within a very short time span. The preparation time was very short and required us to scout a suitable area for the interviews right when we arrived.
The C100 has everything built in for guerrilla style shooting: Direct XLR Inputs, wave form monitor, AF, and great low light capabilities. While I do not feel the C100 excels in anything except for low light, it has all of these features meaning my assistant and I were able to pack a very light gear set.
I was able to keep my client and the interviewees happy because we had only a boom, lav mic, and a set of lights to worry about the entire night.
